Men's Health Highland - MHH
MHH is a Scottish Charity which campaigns on male health related issues on behalf of Men in the Highlands and Islands of North Scotland.
MHH was formed in 1989 and since then, has conducted significant research into various aspects on Men's health, some of these including the major 'Men for Life Research' and regular GP Surveys are archived in the Research Reports option above.
MHH seeks to work with partners including the NHS and Council in Highland to positively influence the design and delivery of services by all health and social related providers.
Our regular events include staffing stalls in Eastgate, at football matches, on the UHI campus and for major employers in Highland. On these stalls we provide a large range of health related leaflets with the services of a nurse to check blood pressure and Body Mass Index information for individuals. MHH seeks volunteers to join the group and take part in our rewarding work. We meet 5/6 times a year at which we have a series of interesting speakers.
